Site work and renovation of a civil project in Chikaming Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: - 1,200' of 12" (O.D.) HDPE DR 11 and 60' of 10" DI force main installation - 10" Line Stop - 1,250' of 10" sanitary sewer abandonment Force main may be installed via open cut and horizontal directional drill. Proposals for either option have been prepared for submittal. Work also includes, but is not limited to, bypass pumping, maintenance of traffic, utility relocation, incidental road replacement, and restoration Contractor shall furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work, which also includes testing, inspection, and placing the systems in operation in compliance with the standards of these specifications FUNDING The work to be performed under this contract will be paid for with bond monies already in hand. BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check payable to GRSD Sewer Authority in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of 90 days after the receipt of bids. COMPLETION DATE Work must be substantially complete within 42 calendar days of starting work on site. The project shall be complete and ready for final payment no later than September 2, 2022.
