For a contractor to remove and replace an underground tank as requested by the DPW. The contractor's tank removal responsibilities include: -Removal and disposal of existing concrete island and tank pads -The cleaning, removal, and disposal of a 6000-gallon single wall fiberglass tank and 4000-gallon double-wall steel buffhide tank, with associated piping removed too. -Preforming a PA DEP Tank Closure assessment with required soil samples. -Excavation of the existing tank hole to prepare for the new tank For the new tank, the contractor's responsibilities include The Supply and installation of the following: -10000- gallon double wall fiberglass tank, split 5k/5k with brine interstitial space - 2 observation wells and manholes - 350 tons of 1b stone - 2 fills with containment/overfill - 2 probe risers - 2 tank subs and mounting kits - interstitial riser, cap and adaptor - 2 vent lines - dry break - 2 double-wall suction lines - 2 dispenser sumps - fuel island 4' x 6' x 13" carbon steel- 3 U-shaped bollards Furthermore, the reinstallation of existing pumps & fuel management system (including calibrations, wet test and sealing of said pumps) The Supply & installation of conduit wiring to the following: - 2 fuel pumps - 2 dispenser sump sensors - island light - fuel management system - 2 tank sumps - interstitial sensor at tank - 2 probes - overfill alarm - 1 phone (provided by owner) - 24-circut sub panel with breakers - Emergency Stop Sign at Wall Forming and pouring of concrete for 1 tank pad, 1 fuel island, 1 lighting footing, and a 12' x 25' x 8" drive mat. ITEM #12 To reinstall existing pumps and fuel management system. TEM #13 To start up system, wet test, calibrate, and seal pumps. ELECTRICAL ITEM #14 To supply and install conduit and wiring to the following: 2 - fuel pumps; 2 - dispenser sump sensors; 1 - island light; 1-fuel management system; 2 - tank sumps; 1 - interstitial sensor at tank; 2 - probes; 1 - overfill alarm; 1 - phone (NOTE: Phone provided by owner); 1- 24-circuit sub panel with breakers; and 1- Emergency stop with sign at wall. ITEM #15 To make all connections inside and outside. CONCRETE ITEM #16 To form and pour the following: 1-tank pad; 1 - fuel island; 1- lighting footing; and 1 -12' x 25' x 811 drive mat. NOTE: All concrete to be 4,000 psi with fibermesh. ASPHALT No asphalt in our proposal. VEEDER ROOT CONSOLE ITEM #17 To supply and install the following: 4 - Veeder Root sump sensors; 1 - Veeder Root interstitial sensor; 2 - Veeder Root 8' probes, caps, and adaptors; and 4 - Veeder Root mounting kits. ITEM #18 To reprogram Veeder Root console for new equipment. LANDSCAPING ITEM #19 To landscape area disturbed during construction activity. PAINTING ITEM #20 To primer and paint bollards, fuel island, and all manholes at tank field. TESTING ITEM #21 To perform compliance testing upon completion of project. TANK REGISTRATION ITEM #22 To complete and submit Amended Tank Registration.
