Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nashua, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project would conduct an analysis of the needs of the intersection and provide for intersection modifications. This location has been the site of frequent crashes resulting from driver confusion as to who has the right-of-way, especially with younger drivers or visiting traffic. The existing busy four-way intersection currently has a three-way stop control, with the fourth leg from the west on Main Dunstable having the right-of-way. Two of the legs are severely skewed and contain sight distance obstructions. As of June 16, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2028 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2023 and FY 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
