Site work for a water / sewer project in Babylon, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the removal and replacement of approximately 300 linear feet of timber bulkhead with new vinyl bulkhead in same location as existing as the base bid, and an additional 300 linear feet of bulkhead as an alternate bid. Project also includes the removal and replacement of the existing roadway adjacent to the work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Village of Babylon in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid proposals should be made in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Shore Road Bulkhead Reconstruction - Phase One". Said bids will be opened and read aloud at the above stated time. The Village of Babylon encourages minority and women owned businesses to participate in all bids. The Village of Babylon reserves the right to waive any informalities in Bidding and to reject any and all bids or to accept any Bid, which in the opinion of the Board, will be in the best interest of the Village.
