As of April 9, 2024, this project was awarded to Bancker Contruction, awarded amount is $1,092,873.72. - The work to be done consists of furnishing, unloading, hauling, distributing and installing, six (6) inch and four (4) inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe and specials and laying and testing the pipe and specials, making connections to existing pipe lines, setting valves and hydrants, excavating and backfilling trenches, power tamping, disposing of surplus material from trenches, temporary restoration, replacement of boardwalks, chlorination and returning surplus pipe and other materials furnished by the Authority to the yard of the Authority as directed. All pipe installation work shall be done in accordance with AWWA C605 (latest edition). - The Contractor shall furnish PVC Class 150 C900, six (6) inch and four (4) inch nominal inside diameter with all necessary mechanical joint or bell and spigot. Retainer glands for PVC pipe shall be Ductile Iron EBAA Series 2000PV, or equal. The Authority shall furnish to the contractor, at its Sunrise Highway (in Oakdale), store yard all gate valves, and valve boxes for 4" & 6".
