Work shall include, but not be limited to removal of existing track surface. Anderson School District One is seeking qualified vendors to provide and install a new running track surfacing system which is located beside Palmetto Middle School, 140 Middle School Rd, Williamston, SC 29697. Work shall include, but not be limited to: o Mill, Perma Flex and Overlay Track o Mill asphalt to a depth of 2" o Sweep existing asphalt and apply track coat o Install a compacted 1/2 " of bituminous surface treatment to reduce reflection cracking (Perma-flex) o Overlay existing pavement with 1-1/2" compacted of asphalt surface o Crack Seal, Seal Coat and Re-Stripe Area Outside of Ticket Booth o Seal cracks 1/2 " wide or wider with Hot Pour Crack Sealer o Sweep existing asphalt prior to seal application o Oil spots will be coated with Petro-Seal to reduce remaining residue from bleeding through o Apply Gem Seal Poly Tar to clean surface (mixed with sand 2-4 lbs per gallon) o Paint Pavement markings to match existing Work is not to start until the first of November or after football season.
