Route 65/Henle Park Storm Sewer Project Contract No. 1-21 Contract No. 1-21 consists of removing 15' of 60" diameter RCP pipe and existing concrete box and installing two new 60" diameter sweeping N-12 45/30 bends and interconnecting 60" diameter N-12 pipe all within PaDOT R/W and constructing 4 concrete flow dissipators upstream on private property. A Bid Security comprised of a certified check or bid bond drawn to the order of Leetsdale Borough executed by the bidder and a surety company satisfactory to the Borough, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, BID SUBMISSION. The Leetsdale Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract work awarded will be to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder for each contract or combination of bids. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the Bid Opening. The project is located in the Borough of Leetsdale in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Specifically, the proposed Work is located along Route 65/Henle Park and along Camp Meeting Road in the Borough as indicated on the General Location Plan The scope of work consists of cutting/removing half of the existing Concrete Inlet Box, cutting the existing RCP pipes, installing two 60" diameter N-12 45/30 degree bends with 60" diameter interconnecting N-12 pipe w/ADS collars at each end to connect to the existing 60" diameter RCP, installing new reinforced concrete walls, cutting/reinstalling existing frame/grate to fit, installing 15" N-12 pipe to connect existing concrete inlet box to new 60" diameter bend, replacing existing brick manhole with new concrete flat top manhole and installing all paving as required by PaDOT as shown on the construction drawings.
