Site work and new construction of a library in Coos Bay, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a library; and for site work for a library.
As of September 4, 2025, the November 2024 Bond vote for a new $30M library failed again. The City of Coos Bay is accepting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified individuals and firms that specialize in civil engineering, architectural, and environmental services to provide conceptual layout and siting for the proposed Library at Topits Park. The goal for this effort is to provide the city with conceptual plans so that they can coordinate with regulatory agencies and obtain funding for final design and construction. The City invites qualified individuals or firms to submit SOQs based upon the scope of the work. The Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
