Trucks shall be equipped so as to be capable of plowing under all storm conditions, shall be equipped with chains, and shall have a rating of at least 33,000 GVW. Plows must be 4-way and shall have a moldboard no smaller than 10 x 30 (8 x 2 minimum for one ton 4x4 pick-ups). Trucks must be equipped with rear-mounted strobe lights and a strobe light or rotating beacon visible 360 mounted to the cab of truck. Ballast will be provided by the Town and must be returned at the end of each storm.Skid loader or small-wheeled loader bids for the purpose of plowing parking lots shall be no smaller than a 9,000 lb. gross weight, have a snow pusher no smaller than 7, and must be 2-speed final drive. The contract period will be from November 1, 2021 - April 30, 2022 The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept and use the bids which it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject bidders based on past performance
