For the Airport Road Recreation Area - Pavilion and Landscaping project generally includes installing a concrete slab and pavilion, electrical conduits under the slab, site grading, seeding, and matting. The entirety of the work is located in Bethel Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Individual descriptions of the work for each bid item are set forth in the bid documents. Time extensions shall be granted if the contractor can prove delays in the receipt of construction supplies. Questions shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within website Requests for clarification are due Friday, March 4, 2022 4:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids over $25,000.00. Bethel Township, Berks County hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. The proposed Airport Road Recreation Area islocated approximately 1,200 feet west of the intersection of Airport Road and PA-501, on the south side of AirportRoad, in Bethel Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The project involves site work, including installing a concrete slab and pavilion, electrical conduits under the slab, site grading, seeding, and matting, optionally installing a paved walking path, and all other work required to satisfactorily complete the project.
