Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boulder City, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work includes the abandonment of a majority of the existing sanitary sewer system within ABC Park and the construction of a new sanitary sewer system including the seven 4" PVC service laterals, seven manholes, approximately 833 linear feet of 8" PVC main line, and associated appurtenances. In addition to the work on the sanitary sewer system, the potable water system will require the removal and replacement of one fire hydrant and the abandonment of a service lateral. This work shall also include the removal of existing surface improvements such as asphalt paving & curbing, concrete sidewalks & curbing, and other miscellaneous improvements. The work shall include the construction of a new loop road and parking areas consisting of approximately 3,350 square yards of 2" asphalt, 1,600 linear feet of concrete curbing, accessible ramps, concrete valley gutters, associated pavement markings & striping, and traffic signage. Areas where construction operations have disturbed existing landscaping will require the repair of existing irrigation systems and the application of a 2" layer of decomposed granite (DG) or the application of a dust palliative. NRS 332.065 CERTIFICATION: Prospective bidders are notified that they shall make certification of conformance as required per Subsection 2 of NRS 332.065. PROPOSAL GUARANTEE: Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Boulder City as a guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of the contract from the Owner Workman's Compensation Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and a Guarantee Bond will be executed as part of the contract agreement.
