Site work for a civil project in Somerset, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Almy Road Culvert Replacement project involves removal and disposal of an existing failing culvert on Almy Road composed of twin 48" corrugated steel pipes and reinforced concrete headwalls. The replacement culvert will be composed of twin 60" corrugated plastic pipes and reinforced concrete headwalls and wingwalls. A 12" water main will also be removed, disposed, and reinstalled within the roadway. This is a MassDOT funded project and therefore, any bidders must be on the current MassDOT Prequalified Contractors List for work categories Bridge - Culverts and Drainage.
