Proposals deemed responsive will be evaluated and an award decision will be made by the City Council. A contract will be awarded to the qualified applicant whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Gulf Shores. However, the City of Gulf Shores reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals received. The intent of this scope is to implement the initial burn of each of the nine burn units of the Oyster Bay Nature Preserve and the two burn units of the Wenzel Wetland Preserve within the city of Gulf Shores, Baldwin County, Alabama. The Wenzel Tract is a 466-acre parcel of land found in Section 4, Township 9 South, Range 3 East and in Sections 35 and 36, Township 8 South, Range 3 East and is located west of Highway 59 and north of County Road 4 and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. The Oyster Bay Tract is a 370-acre parcel of land found in Sections 6 and 12, Township 9 South, Range 3 East and in Sections 7 and 18, Township 9 South, Range 4 East and is located north of State Route 180 (Fort Morgan Road) and south of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.
