Site work and renovation of a residential development in Eastham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,773-square-foot, one-story above grade residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
**As of November 10, 2021. The project has not been awarded and no specific time frame for award has been determined at this time.** Rock Harbor Harbormaster Building and Site Improvements Project, consisting of the construction of an appx. 600 s.f. building elevated on an open pile foundation, with access ramp and associated site improvements. Each Bid and filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total contract price. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. MBE/WBE: Combined 10.4 % of the Contract Price. 631 Dyer Prince Road, Eastham, MA: The Work consists of: construction of an approximately 600 square foot (see plans for exact size) building elevated on an open wood pile foundation, with an associated elevated access ramp and decks, includes associated site work, wastewater system, utilities, invasive species removal, native plantings, paved parking, walkways, and bio retention areas. The location, general characteristics, and principal details of the Work are indicated on plans entitled: "Rock Harbor Harbormaster Building and Site Revitalization Project, 631 Dyer Prince Road, Parcel No.:19-120-0, Bid Drawings - Rev 1," dated September 15, 2021. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Architect/Engineer, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
