Renovation of a residential development in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The City of Rock Island is requesting bids from contractors for a rehabilitation project at a house located at 2837 6th avenue. This owner-occupied property will be undergoing rehabilitation using Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds to ameliorate deteriorating and deteriorated conditions. All work shall be subject to HUD 35.930 and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Questions shall be directed to the Construction Officer at 309-732-2906. The City of Rock Island is requesting bids from contractors for a rehabilitation project at a house located at 2837 6 th avenue. This owner-occupied property will be undergoing rehabilitation using Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds to ameliorate deteriorating and deteriorated conditions. All work shall be subject to HUD 35.930 and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Contractors who are interested in this project will need to schedule a site visit with the homeowner, Stephen Lucas, by calling them at 309-737-1051, prior to submitting the bid. Sealed bids must be received on or before 12/23/2021 at 2pm. They shall be addressed and marked as follows. Remove existing 100-amp Federal Pacific panel. Install New 100-amp panel and GFCI outlet to meet code. One of the older circuits was constantly tripping the breaker. This will need to be trouble shot, making sure there is no fire hazard due to wires touching and shorting out. Electrical permit is required.
