Renovation of a detention facility in Gunnison, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Project no: 2237710 The Department of Corrections has asked for assistance with replacing the Steam Condensate Line for their Culinary Building. The Culinary Building is dependent on steam for cooking and cleaning so shutdowns are limited and MUST be scheduled (See Specifications for details). The Prime General Contract must use a DFCM Pre-Qualified Mechanical Subcontractor for this Project. The DFCM Pre-Qualified Mechanical Contractor list is attached for reference. The Base Bid will consist of all of the work and equipment associated with the replacement of the Steam Condensate Line as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. The Substantial Completion Date has been set to allow flexibility with the Contractor's Schedule. However, as noted in the Specifications, the Contractor has sixty (60) days to complete the needed work once mobilized on-site. The Contractor must provide an anticipated Substantial Completion date with they bid. This date must be on or before May 6, 2022.
