As of Nov 19 the project was awarded to Charlton Electric $85,406.49. For repairs and renovations to the Traders Hill RV electrical system. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Mr. Hampton Raulerson, County Administrator via Email at hraulerson@charltoncountyga.gov and shall be received no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, October 30th, 2021. The CCBOC reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject all proposals in whole or in part if Charlton County determines that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the County. Proposals are legal and binding upon the Bidder when submitted. It will also be the responsibility of each Bidder to obtain any addenda issued from the County Administrator. The written RFP documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. CCBOC will be accepting one (1) unbound original of the complete signed proposal. Pursuant to Georgia law, no bids will be considered without an executed E-Verify affidavit. Driving Directions:Charlton County Annex from I-95: Take I-95 South to Georgia Highway 40, if coming from the North. If coming from the South, take I-95 North to Georgia Highway 40; or exit 3. Take Georgia Highway 40 West and drive 25 miles. Charlton County Annex will be on the left at the dead end. Address: 68 Kingsland Drive Suite B, Folkston GA 31537 a. All new wiring to be in minimal of Sch.40 Rigid Nonmetallic Conduit. b. Wiring sized to prevent a voltage drop no greater than 3% at the RV receptacle and no more than 5% total of service feeders and branch circuits combined. NEC 210.19 FPN no. 4; NEC 551.73(D) FPN. c. Construction of new service pedestal with 3" rigid galvanized pipe for service pedestal risers and 2x6 pressure treated southern yellow pine for the cross members, with additional water sealer. Existing (2) 200-amp service panels are to be utilized. Note: all open holes are to be blanked. d. Installation of fifteen (15) new 50-30-20 GFCI RV pedestals (Midwest # UO75CP4010) or equivalent. e. Removal of existing wooden RV pedestals. f. Repair of any damaged water lines due to installation/trenching. g. Any other materials, labor or equipment necessary in order to complete the above mentioned project
