INTRODUCTION Charlton County, Georgia is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build teams interested in providing services for the design and construction of Fire Station 4, a new public safety facility that will serve the residents of Charlton County. This RFQ represents the first step in a two-phase qualifications-based selection process. PROJECT OVERVIEW Charlton County intends to construct a new Fire Station 4 facility that includes: A pre-engineered metal building Three (3) drive-through apparatus bays Community meeting room Office space Commercial kitchen with induction appliances Three storage areas (to be designed with the potential for future conversion into dormitories) The project will be delivered through a Design-Build contract with a not-to-exceed construction budget of $990,000, subject to refinement during final negotiations. Deadline for Questions June 15, 2025. Charlton County reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, to waive technicalities, and to request clarification or additional information as needed.
