Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,760-square-foot, one-story above grade, one-story below grade religious / funeral development; for the renovation of a 3,969-square-foot religious / funeral development; and for site work for a religious / funeral development.

St. Mark's Church is an historic church which has been unoccupied since the 1990's. Phase 1 Exterior Restoration was undertaken to restore the exterior of the church and install base electrical, water and heating to the building in 2017. The Phase 2 Restoration of St. Mark's Church includes: a) Building a new addition to the west of the church to include bathrooms, a kitchen, storage and a new entrance; b) Restoration of selected features of the existing church; c) Associated interior finishes; d) Associated Structural, Mechanical & Electrical work; e) Civil services (storm + sanitary), and; f) Landscape improvements inclusive of storm water management, hardscaping, landscaping and plantings and driveway entrance from Hunter Street West. The following is a list of contractors that the City of Hamilton has pre-qualified under a separate procurement process specifically for heritage conservation work ("Heritage Contractor"): - Clifford Restoration - Collaborative Structures - Colonial Building Restoration - DJ McRae Contractors - Heritage Grade Architectural Restoration - Heritage Restoration - Limen Group Construction - Phoenix Restoration - Robertson Restoration - Roof Tile Management - Ultimate Construction Any heritage work, including: - Heritage masonry repairs - Millwork installation and conservation in the church, to be detailed in the specifications - Window and door scope of work in the church - Plaster repairs in the church - Woodwork finishing shall be carried out by a Heritage Contractor. Therefore, Pre-qualified Applicants resulting from this RFPQ shall: a) Be a general contractor and subcontract all heritage work to a Heritage Contractor; or b) Be a Heritage Contractor.
