Construction of the Diesel Driven Bypass Pumps at PS #2, PS #4, PS #13 and PS #30 Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Schedule. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Poly, Inc., 1935 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No Bidding Documents will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled date and time of the Bid Opening. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The award of this contract is subject to Chapter 112, Florida Statutes, which requires any Bidder to declare any and all conflicts of interest. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. The Owner further reserves the right to negotiate price and time with the low bidder. Furnishing and installing a packaged diesel-driven bypass pumping system on a concrete slab at Pump Stations #2, #4, #13 and #30, including suction pipe into the existing wet-well and discharge piping tied into the existing discharge force main.
