Project Category Code: Parks, Recreation, Trail Work, Sewer and Water Construction Description: The major items of work include approximately: The project includes, but not limited to, the construction of Dean's Trail from Oriole Street west to Thrush Street, under Highway 412 in a proposed precast concrete box culvert tunnel, then east to Sara Ford Avenue. The Contract consists of 1,738-ft of 12' wide concrete trail, precast concrete box culvert 12-ft x 10-ft tunnel, drainage improvements, and water and sanitary sewer relocations. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. Upon completion of the project and after all defects have been corrected in accordance with the final inspection, a maintenance bond for an amount equal to 50% of the construction cost Owner and to fully complete the project within 300 consecutive calendar days The Work to be performed under these Specifications shall be shown on the Plans and shall include all materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and incidentals as well as the performance of all labor necessary for the completion of the project.
