Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Clearwater, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of the following: Construction of a new triplex sanitary lift station adjacent to an existing lift station that will be demolished, including all sitework, connection piping, bypass pumping, electrical and instrumentation work, testing and associated work required to complete the project. The time allotted for this project is 270 days for substantial completion. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to Tspearman@dunedinfl.net. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements, as set forth in the contract. The City of Dunedin, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, waive any irregularities or informalities, re-advertise, and award the Contract in its best interest.
