Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Shiloh, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a 600-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Demolish and Replace O'Fallon Weigh Station Building District 8: Weigh Station MBE/WBE Subcontracting and Supplier Goals Apply The scope of work provides for demolishing and removing the existing 500 sf East Bound Weigh station and constructing a new 780 sf weigh station in the same location. Construction will be brick veneer and masonry bearing walls with prefabricated sloped wood trusses and standing seam metal roof. The interior walls will be painted CMU. There will be two designated areas; one for staff and one for the public. The staff area will have a work area, kitchenette, mechanical room, and an accessible staff restroom with emergency eye wash station. The public area will have a public lobby and accessible restroom. The staff area will include built in counters and cabinetry. New concrete sidewalks will have to be added to connect the Weigh Station to the existing parking lot and scales.
