The Work specified in the "Scope of Services" generally consists of completion of the Sausalito Force Main Replacement Project. The work includes force main replacement, installation of valving, connection piping, restoration of sidewalk, asphalt and landscaping, and miscellaneous site work. The purpose of the Contract is completion of the Sausalito Force Main Replacement Project. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for constructing the force main replacement as shown on the drawings and includes: 1. Installation of approximately 6,000 LF of 10-inch force main consisting of approximately: i. 1,900 LF of Pipe Burst. ii. 1,600 LF of Open Cut. iii. 2,500 LF of Horizontal Directional Drill. iv. Valving and Air Release Valves per drawing. v. Fittings and restraints as needed. vi. Sidewalk, driveway, curb, and gutter restoration. vii. Remove and replace asphalt pavement. viii. Grouting of the existing force main. ix. Removal and disposal of the existing AC force main 2. Repair sidewalk, driveway and asphalt road. 3. Coordinate with City to re-direct flow from existing lift stations (open and closing valves), in order to have existing FM without flow. 4. Restoration of site landscaping, irrigation, roadway and other affected facilities. 5. Connection to existing Lift Station piping and existing Force Main on South Winter Park Drive. 6. All Permitting, including but not limited to FDOT and MOT. 7. Provide testing.
