The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Medical School will receive sealed proposals: State Project #: CP2298 Title: GSN Renovation S1-844 & S1-845 Scope: The project includes the renovation of approximately 1,900 square feet of interior space within the UMass Medical School Building to create a new office suite. Work will include selective demolition. New work includes framing, drywall and insulation, carpet tile, acoustical tile ceilings, painting, wood doors and metal frames. HVAC work includes new VAV boxes and air distribution. New power and lighting will be distributed throughout the space. Sprinkler relocations are also included in this work. Estimated Cost: $225,000.00 The project includes approximately 1900 square-feet of interior renovations to existing office spaces within the University of Massachusetts Medical School (Level 1; Clinical Wing). A general summary of the Scope of Work includes, but not limited to, the following items: o Selective architectural demolition (i.e.: removal and disposal of existing doors & frames, metal stud/gypsum wallboard partitions, flooring finishes, acoustical ceiling tiles, etc.) o Furnishing and installing new fire-stopping o Furnishing and installing new door and frame units o Furnishing and installing new metal stud/gypsum wallboard partition systems o Furnishing and installing new sound attenuation fire blankets/mineral wool insulation o New painting o Furnishing and installing new flooring finishes o Furnishing and installing new ceiling tiles (including acoustical ceiling panels), ceiling grid and suspension systems o Extensive demolition and installation of new/relocated mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical systems
