Site work and paving for a road / highway in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bid invitation for resurfacing streets at the following locations: LAKE VIEW ST, PAINE ST, ROCKPORT RD, VOLKMAR RD, and WINNECONNETT RD. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as specified, and include a completed Form for General Bid, bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, and forms required by City Policies & Programs. All questions must be referred in writing. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is required. The project is subject to Chapter 90 funding and requires prequalification in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00. Pre-qualification requirements: Interested bidders must be prequalified by Mass DOT (or have been granted a waiver from Mass DOT) for Highway Construction with an estimated value of $3,518,240.00. Question Deadline 03/20/2026 All questions must be referred in writing to Stephen McDonald via email at: MCDONALDS@WORCESTERMA.GOV All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Department, City of Worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids.
