As of May 12, 2026 project was awarded to Callahan & Montalto Site Const., awarded amount is $1,040,976.21 Furnish labor, materials, equipment and supervision required for water services and hydrant construction at various locations throughout the city. Additional locations may be added using contract unit prices. Question Deadline 04/10/2026 All questions must be referred in writing to Chris Gagliastro via e-mail at gagliastroc@worcesterma.gov All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Department, City of Worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. This Contract shall consist of miscellaneous maintenance activities on the City of Worcester's public water distribution system including but not limited to the rehabilitation of small diameter water services and the replacement of old, obsolete public fire hydrants. This work may include (but not limited to) the relay or replacement of portions of water services, the installation of curb stop shut off valves, the adjustment of water service and gate boxes, the abandoning of water services or connections, the installation of new water services and the replacement or installation of hydrants at various locations in the City of Worcester as listed below: STREET LIMIT Beacon Street Resurfacing Program Dorothy Avenue Resurfacing Program First Street Resurfacing Program Harlow Street Resurfacing Program Lucian Street Resurfacing Program Norcross Street Resurfacing Program Upsala Street Resurfacing Program William Street Resurfacing Program Winneconnett Road Resurfacing Program Woodland Street Resurfacing Program Various Streets A-Z Iron Service Inventory
