Summary of the project and the work to be carried out The project involves replacing part of the windows of the Roger-Gaudry pavilion, which is a heritage building, and repairing the masonry. The vast majority of the interventions of this project are located in the wings and floors of the east and west sectors of the pavilion, which are the subject of the project to reallocate the spaces of the Roger-Gaudry pavilion. The space reallocation project is made up of two major projects: the West sector reallocation project and the East sector reallocation project. Each of these projects will be carried out in two lots, a demolition lot and a construction lot. In the end, four contracts for construction work will be awarded by the University of Montreal to carry out the Roger-Gaudry pavilion component, of the project of reallocation of spaces. The windows to be installed by the successful contractor have been the subject of a pre-purchase contract. This contract will be transferred to the successful bidder of this call for tenders and the University's co-contractor to the pre-purchase contract will then become a subcontractor of the successful bidder. The preparation of a new window delivery schedule (that contained in the pre-purchase contract is now obsolete), the coordination of the delivery of the windows and the provision of the services provided for in the pre-purchase contract will be the responsibility of the successful bidder of this contract. call for tenders. The contractual documents for the pre-purchase of windows are part of the documents for this call for tenders. It should be noted that the building will be partially occupied for the duration of the work. An eligibility condition related to the experience of the general contractor and his specialized masonry sub-contractor, if applicable, is provided for in the instructions to bidders. The criteria are set out in the Annexes to the DSUM-4 FS-1 Price Submission Form (Reference Project Tables). Work schedule The Contractor undertakes to take all the necessary measures in order to respect the schedule planned to start the work on or around 2021-11-15 allowing the issuance of the final acceptance certificate no later than: 2025-03- 15. The project will be carried out according to different work sequences. The work start dates (at the earliest) as well as the partial provisional acceptance dates indicated below must be respected in connection with specific locations. The sketches in Appendix F "Sequences", Plans and Specifications make it possible to identify the work sequences and the locations concerned by them. (See DSUM2 for more details) Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
