Reissue Environmental Consultant Community-Wide Brownfield Assessment The Municipality of Norristown Department of Planning and Municipal Development is seeking a qualified environmental consultant with the capacity to conduct and prepare Phase I and Phase II Assessments, Remedial Action Plans, Quality Assurance Project Plans, and Sampling and Analysis Plans to provide environmental professional services to implement the Municipality of Norristown United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Community-Wide Brownfields Assessment Grants Project. In 2018, the U.S. EPA awarded the Municipality a Community-Wide Brownfield Assessment Grant for hazardous substances and petroleum products in the amount of $300,000 ($200,000 for hazardous material sites and $100,000 for petroleum sites). Of the initial award, $145,320.33 remains available for disbursement. That balance constitutes a combined $79,604.03 and $65,716.30 for hazardous material and petroleum site assessments, respectively. The RFP detailing the scope of services is available upon request. Requests for clarification are due Tuesday, January 4, 2022 4:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)].
