Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sorrento, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
STATEMENT OF WORK: Fabricate Platforms and Catwalks as per the design drawings and specifications. All fabricated steel and assembly parts shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized. All assembly parts and fabricated steel is to be delivered, unloaded and put on support cribbing provided by fabricator at the Marvin Braud Pump Station. The public entity advertising for bids for work shall require the bidders to attach a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for not more than five percent of the contract price of work to be done, as an evidence of good faith of the bidder. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Electronic bid bonds must be submitted prior to the electronic bidding deadline. Beginning at 10:00 am local time on February 15, 2021 all bids will be downloaded. No bids are accepted after 10:00 am local time. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid must accompany each bid, and shall be made payable to the owner. The Marvin Braud pump station is a significant part of the parishes flood protection system and assuch needsto have improvements made in orderto maintain optimal performance from the pumps and the pumping station
