Purposes of announcing and soliciting qualified design-build firms who are interested in performing services relating to the design and construction of an approximately 125 mile underground100 Gigabit fiberoptic network in Summit County that connects all thirty-one (31) communities Construction is planned to start in 2022 with completion by 2024. As part of the design and construction of the network, fiber, conduit, and other structures will be installed within the public right-of-way and on the properties identified in the plans and specifications that were prepared by the MCM Consulting Group, Inc. (MCM), which has been retained by The County of Summit, Ohio to serve as the Criteria Engineer for this Project (the "Criteria Engineer"). Any Consultant who provided services to the County that have been directly utilized in this design-build proposal or Scope of Services document will not be eligible to participate in this design-build contract for this project, either as a prime consultant or as a sub-consultant.
