As of January 4, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. All trades are let. They just received their notice to proceed and construction is expected to start in February 2022. The information below is kept for reference. SEPTA considers work for the contractor to be performing haunch bearing repairs along the Frankford Elevated Rail Line. The contractor shall install concrete haunch bearing repairs at locations selected by SEPTA along the Frankford Elevated Rail Line. The Contractor's work for the haunch repairs includes: a. Moving and/or removal and reinstalling adjacent utilities and lights to allow prosecution of work b. Installation of temporary support shoring c. Removal of safety screen or old repair material d. Deteriorated concrete removal e. Concrete surface preparation f. Replacement of steel bearings and shims, as indicated on the repair drawings g. Installation of steel side plates h. Casting repair material i. Welding side plates to haunch embed bearing plate j. All other necessary steps to achieve this work as per the contract documents WJE No. 2021.4562 Project No. 624
