New construction of a fire / police facility in Gunnison, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.

Construct a 50X80 metal building with part of the building being two story, with heat and running water, for use by the police department for storage of vehicles, department property and evidence/found property. Building would also provide space for a evidence processing area. Building would consist of three vehicle bays for storage of the communications vehicle, tactical vehicle, electronic signs and misc. equipment. Vehicle bays would also be used for processing of vehicles held for evidence. The remaining 1st floor space, 50)20, would be used for large item evidence/found property storage. evidence processing area and general storage. The second floor, 50X40 would he secure storage for long term evidence and department property. As of September 20, 2023, this project is included in the City of Gunnison's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding allotted for FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
