Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Gunnison, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a municipal facility.
The estimated total capital cost for the water storage tank is $10,568,000. This cost includes the demolition and abatement costs for the existing Tanks 2 and 3. These tanks have been previously tested for lead and asbestos, and environmental abatement is required. Project 4 capital costs also include the construction of a new instrumentation building with telemetry communication to the WTP and SCADA system. As of September 20, 2023, this project is included in the City of Gunnison's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding allotted for FY 2028 and beyond. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
