Renovation of a water / sewer project in Effingham, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of providing and installation of an exterior Standby Generator Set to provide complete back-up power to the WWTP. This will include an automatic transfer switch, reconfiguration of utility service and conduit and wiring. In addition the project includes the relocation of an existing generator set and its associated automatic transfer switch from the WWTP to the Banker Street Pump Station. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The work includes but is not limited to modifying the Main Electrical Service to incorporate an exterior Standby Generator Set and associated Automatic Transfer switch and the associated control work. Project also includes relocation of the existing UV Disinfection standby generator set and associated automatic transfer switch to the Banker Street Pumping Station in incorporation into the pump station electrical distribution gear.
