The Citys Master Plan recognizes that one key component in community sustainability is its watershed plan. The ability to adapt to extreme weather and climate change by moving water through the Citys drainage system requires that the waterways included in this system be sufficiently maintained. This project involves clearing and grubbing any debris along the bottom of the ditch that runs from (1) South Magnolia to Cypress Drive parallel to Day Drive (approx. 4,860 linear feet); and (2) Cypress Drive to Day Drive parallel to South Street (approx. 1,905 linear feet) to allow for the uninhibited flow of water.
