City of Baker (Herein Referred to as the Owner) Hereby Solicits Sealed Bids for the Municipal Complex Generator Replacement Project Described as Follows: Statement of Work: Modifying the Existing 120/208v Three-phase Service as Shown on the Drawings, Including Coordinating With Entergy. Demolishing the Existing Natural Gas Generator and Demolishing the Existing Conductors. Demolishing the Existing 500a Panels and Replacing With New Panels as Shown on the Drawings, Including Tracing the Existing Circuits and Demolishing Existing Abandoned Circuits. Furnishing and Installing Conduits With Conductors From Service Entrance Service Equipment to the Building as Shown on the Drawings. Furnishing and Installing Power Panels and Disconnect Switches for Use Within Buildings. Furnishing and Installing Electrical Conduit and Wiring Required for Connection of Mechanical Equipment Furnished Under Other Sections of These Specifications. Furnishing and Installing a New 200 Kw Natural Gas Generator as Shown on the Drawings. Furnishing and Installing a New Automatic Transfer Switch as Shown on the Drawings. Installation of Temporary Construction Power Required by the General Contractor and Sub-contractors During the Construction Period. Contractors Submitting Bids Shall Be Licensed Under La R.s. 37:2150-2164, Electrical Work. The Bidder Shall Show His License Number on the Bid and on the Sealed Envelope Submitting the Bid. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids for Just Cause; Such Actions Will Be in Accordance With Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. In Accordance With R.s. 38:2212 (a)(1)(B), the Provisions and Requirements Stated in the Bidding Documents Shall Not Be Waived by Any Entity. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His/her Bid, Security in the Amount of at Least Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price, Provided on the Specified Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties Used for Obtaining Bonds Must Appear as Acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid Within Forty-five (45) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof.
