Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Manteo, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
***As of December 22, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.*** All Contractors submitting bids shall possess a valid North Carolina Contractor's License. A Certificate of General Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000) and proof of workers compensation insurance shall be attached to each bid for consideration. The bidder to whom this project is awarded shall have One Hundred (100) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed to complete the terms of the contract for this project. Contractor shall post a performance bond equal to 100% of the Contract Sum and shall post a payment bond equal to 100% of the Contract Sum, in favor of Manteo, for the faithful performance of the Contract Work and payment of all labor and material used in the prosecution of the Contract Work. Acceptable bond forms are as attached to this Agreement . Any other bond forms must be pre-approved in writing by Manteo. The surety on such bonds shall be duly authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina as a surety, and shall be subject to approval by Manteo. One Hundred (100) days from the date of the Notice to Proceed project is to be completed. This date to be finalized at the time the contracts are executed by the Contractors. The Town of Manteo reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
