Van-Far R-l School District (hereinafter "District") is seeking sealed Proposals from qualified bidders for the Renovation of the track on the campus of Van-Far R-l School District. This project will entail removing the gravel and curb, re-grading and leveling, resurfacing the track with asphalt and finishing the all-weather surface. Additionally, the project would create new fully accessible entrances and lighting to the track entrance and surrounding area. Parking (school district expense) will be added to accommodate all ADA criteria and needs for all users. The District is seeking to contract directly with the contractor. Demolition and groundwork of existing running track and field event areas. o Re-grade existing running track and field event areas to required profiles, provide fill as necessary. o Construct new asphaltic concrete/concrete running track foundation o Construct: o New poured in place concrete long jump/triple jump pit and runway o New poured in place pole vault runway/landing pad o New poured in place concrete high jump pad o New poured in place concrete shot put pad o New poured in place concrete discus pad o New poured in place javelin runway o Install new "full pour" synthetic track surfacing on running track foundation, long jump/triple jump runway, pole vault runway, high jump pad and javelin runway. o Install new net protective cage for discus pad. o Install new turf and drainage/shock attenuation blanket in appropriate areas o Install required running track and field event striping and markings.
