This project consists of furnishing labor, supplies, equipment, material and performing all operations necessary for the installation of new traffic devices at 4 intersections within the City of Wooster. It includes the removal and replacement of the traffic signal at the intersections of Bever-Henry, Bever-South, Market-Henry, and Market-South and the addition of pedestrian crossing signals. Project Completion Date: November 30, 2022 Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
