Completion Date: June 1, 2023 Performance Bond, Payment Bond. Along with the signed Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish the City with a performance bond and payment bond in the form required by law, each in an amount equal to the full amount of the Contract. The overall scope of the Work which is more fully described in these Contract Documents includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to: 1. Mobilize and demobilize labor, equipment, materials, and temporary facilities. 2. Perform any required site preparation including protection of surface and subsurface existing facilities and structures not planned for removal, including, but not limited to pavements, curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, power, lighting, cable tv, etc. Protection of existing vegetation identified within the work limits identified by the Owner to remain and all vegetation near but outside the work area. Removals as required, including removals of all materials from the site. 3. Control surface water and groundwater as necessary to complete and/or construct the work. 4. Furnish, install and maintain erosion and sediment control features as required; inlet protection, construction entrance, dewatering filter bags, erosion control blanket, temporary seed and mulch. 5. Develop and implement control of water plan and install temporary controls as required. All pumped water must be filtered per state and local requirements and no turbid water shall be passed down stream of the project. 6. Remove trees marked for removal and perform all miscellaneous clearing and grubbing as shown, protect all other trees. 7. Remove existing lift station structure and internal components. 8. Perform all other miscellaneous removals of existing features as shown. 9. Strip, salvage and stockpile topsoil from graded areas outside pond for later use during restoration. 10. Import and install topsoil as required. 11. Install temporary access haul road across pond. 12. Excavate pond to lines and grades as shown on the drawings, including grading along shoreline to transition to existing areas, including disposal of dredged material at an appropriate landfill. 13. All operations required to break up, move, or stockpile ice for the duration of the project. 14. Grade areas outside of pond including cut and fill and removing excess excavated material. 15. Install new riprap at flared end sections and wing wall. 16. Install new storm sewer pipe, structures, and castings, including connections to existing piping. 17. Install lift station and valve vault structures and all associated force main piping and appurtenances 18. Install HDPE force main by directional drilling. 19. Remove, salvage, and furnish and install chain link fencing and gates as shown. 20. Install concrete curb and gutter. 21. Install bituminous and concrete paving. 22. Install class 5 aggregate. 23. Install electrical controls building, including slabs and structural fill. 24. Perform all electrical site work and removals. 25. Repair existing wooden baffle box. 26. Restore all areas disturbed during construction. 27. Remove temporary erosion and sediment control BMPs. 28. Demobilization of equipment and cleanup of all work areas to the satisfaction of the Owner.
