The City of Harrisburg is re-bidding and will accept new bids from general contractors to demolish/remove existing windows in the front and back of the building and frame out two (2) garage doors and one (1) man door at 1002 N 7th Street. Responses will be considered valid for a period of 60 days. The City of Harrisburg (CoH) is seeking a general contractor to remove existing windows in the front and back of the building and frame out two (2) garage doors and one (1) man door Remove bullet-proof glass in what was previously the drive through window. Frame out area to fit a 10 foot (wide) by 8 feet 5-inch garage door Frame opening at 32 inches wide by 82 1/2 inches tall (to fit standard size man door (30 inches wide by 80 inches tall) Provide and install man door Remove two windows on the 7th street side of building Frame out area to fit a 12-foot (wide) by 9-foot (tall) garage door These specifications include the Engineering Specifications written April 14, 2021 and incorporated herein. See Appendix A All potential vendors must complete a site visit prior to submitting a bid. The City of Harrisburg must be included as an additional insured party. The chosen contractor must be bonded. The contractor is responsible for the removal of all trash generated after completing this project. CoH will provide all necessary permits and inspections.
