Renovation of a multi-residential development in Clarkesville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Reroofing at Clearview Apartments (1 Building), Holcomb Street Apartments (6 Buildings), Lockridge (1 Building), The Washington (1 Building) in Clarksville, Georgia A certified check, or bank draft, drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corpor ation made payable to the Owner or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond For m contained in the Specifications in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid . The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities, informalities and irregularities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The General Contractors submitting bids or being considered for this work shall be licensed to perform such work b y the State in which the work is located and shall submit evidence of such license before his bid may be opened or considered. Comply with all requirements of all Authorities having jurisdiction, as applicable, regarding illegal immigration and/ or the Federal E-Verify Program. Provide signed Affidavit with Cost Proposal and or Sealed Bids. Time for completion shall be 60 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall be $50.00 per calendar day. Warranty to commence at the completion of all work. All contractors shall be required to comply with the equal employment requirements of the Federal Government, and to specifically comply with 24 CFR Part 135 which requires that employment and other economic opportunities gen erated by this contract shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low and very low income persons, particula rly those persons who live in the projects where this work will be done.
