Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Davie, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,780-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.

5315 Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to bids@davie-fl.gov no later than 5:00 PM on November 12, 2021. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation will be made available as formal addenda to the Town's Procurement The selection of the successful bidder(s) shall be at the Town's discretion and shall be made in a prompt manner after the receipt and evaluation of all ITB responses. The Town of Davie reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any and all irregularities in any submission, and to make awards in the best interest of the Town. Restoration and improvements to the existing steel frame and steel-clad storage building. The contractor shall take and confirm all necessary field dimensions. Structural The Structural Scope of work includes but is not limited to: a. Demolition/removal of the existing wood lean to, metal storage shed, existing restroom structure, metal cladding around the building perimeter and roof, interior wood stud partitions, interior wood staircase, drywall, "Z" girt, purlins, man doors, skylights, windows, roll up doors, and accessories as indicated on the contract plans. b. Restoration of the existing steel frame by replacing the demolished/removed eave struts, "Z" girts, and purlins with new eave struts, "Z" girts, and purlins as indicated on the contract plans. c. Install new 22ga 36" 7.2 Insulated-rib vertical siding panels and 22ga 36" 7.2 insulated-rib horizontal roof panels. d. Install new fire rated staircase assembly as required. e. Install new single- and double-man doors and overhead doors where indicated. f. Contractor shall sort demolished materials for recycling. All metals shall be secured and placed into dumpsters provided by the Town of Davie's recycling contractor SA Recycling. The Contractor shall be responsible to schedule the delivery and removal of the dumpsters through SA Recycling at 561-322-6510. Electrical Scope of work includes but is not limited to: a. Demolition/removal of all existing conduit light fixtures, outlets, panels, and associated electrical devices. b. Furnish and install all equipment required to temporarily relocate the electrical service and to permanently re-install the electrical service as indicated on the electrical plans. c. Furnish and install new light fixtures as indicated on the electrical drawings. Work shall include new interior and exterior light fixtures including normal and emergency lighting and lighting control. d. Contractor is required to provide all materials and labor required to complete the electrical lighting work. e. Furnish and install new electrical equipment as indicated on the electrical drawings. Work shall include new electrical outlets, disconnects, and panels. Electrical scope shall also include providing the required power to all mechanical equipment. Contractor is required to provide all materials and labor required to complete the electrical work. f. Refer to electrical documents and set of drawings for complete electrical scope of work. Plumbing Scope of work includes but is not limited to: a. Demolition and removal of all existing plumbing piping and fixtures. b. Install the plumbing fixtures identified on the plumbing fixture schedule. Plumbing fixtures will be provided by the Town. Contractor is responsible for providing all required materials and labor including piping, valves, etc. required to complete the plumbing work. Mechanical Scope of work includes but is not limited to: a. Furnish and install new mechanical equipment as indicated on the mechanical drawings. Mechanical work shall include mechanical louvers, exhaust fans, removal, and re-installation of existing AC units. Contractor is required to provide all materials and labor required to complete the mechanical work. b. Refer to mechanical documents and set of drawings for complete mechanical scope of work.
