Renovation of a fire / police facility in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
In accordance with Rhode Island General Law 37-13-14, bidders for public works/public building contracts in excess of$5,000 shallfurnish a performance bond, upon conditional award ofthe contract, at 100% ofthe contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance ofthe contract. A Labor and Materials Bond, at full contract value, is required upon conditional award ofthe contract. The Woonsocket Police Department is seeking a request for proposal (RFP) from a qualified plumber for the replacement of eleven (11) toilet-sink units in the adult cell block. The scope of the work is detailed here: Removal of eleven (11) existing Acorn toilet/sink combination fixtures from the cell block. Removal of all existing mounting hardware and plumbing in the cell block. Supply and install 11 Acorn Lav-Toilet Comby Units (1418-CT-2-BP-04-FV-PHLF) in the cell block. Supply and re-work/replace any existing plumbing, as needed. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
