Renovation of a residential development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The bids shall provide the cost for furnishing all necessary equipment, materials, labor, related services, permit fees and complying with all related Federal (EPA, OSHA, HUD), State and Local regulations for the following: Base Bid (Lump Sum) Work involves but is not limited to the removal and replacement of existing venting systems for gas water heaters and HVAC systems in selected units at Meadow Ridge, Valleybrook, Terrace Park and Berkshire Village Apartments. No bids will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. As an alternate, a 5% bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the bid. Any questions regarding the project should be directed to the Raleigh Housing Authority's Development Department by calling 919-831-8300. The Raleigh Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Raleigh Housing Authority prohibits discrimination in any manner on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability or sexual orientation and will pursue an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting and conducting business with woman and minority-owned enterprises. The bidder must include completed minority or women-owned subcontract documentation (form(s) regardless of the bid amount or the bids may be considered non-responsive and invalid.
