The bids shall provide the cost for furnishing all necessary equipment, materials, labor, related services, permit fees and complying with all related Federal (EPA, OSHA, HUD), State and Local regulations for the following: Base Bid (Lump Sum) Work involves but is not limited to the removal and replacement of existing venting systems for gas water heaters and HVAC systems in selected units at Meadow Ridge, Valleybrook, Terrace Park and Berkshire Village Apartments. No bids will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. As an alternate, a 5% bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the bid. The Raleigh Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
