Site work and paving for a civil project in Tifton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of January 4 the project was awarded to Griffin Grading & Concrete LLC for $298,273.12. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Main Lane Improvements as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of 600 linear feet of grading, drainage, base and surfacing as well as all other incidentals for a complete project. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 120 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
