A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work of this single bid project includes the gut demolition, envelope replacement and interior fit out of the approximately 65,000sf Jewett Hall, including the roof. The work includes, but is not limited to, brick envelope demolition and reconstruction, concrete slab demolition and removals, cutting and patching, concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel stairs, miscellaneous metals, railings, misc. carpentry, millwork, thermal protection, sealants, doors and frames, aluminum storefronts/entrances, hardware, finishes, acoustic wall/ceiling panels, wall coverings, ceilings, metal studs and GWB partitions, flooring, EPDM Roofing, sitework, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing; and hazardous materials abatement. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors - union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This Project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns for the project.
