Site work for a development in South Easton, Massachusetts. Working plans call for site work for a development.

**As of 12/16/2021, the project was not awarded because all bids were overbudget or unresponsive. They will have to rebid in phases. The Easton Conservation Commission seeks excavation services to remove and properly dispose of soils associated with the creation of three (3) wetland areas, roughly 100,000 s.f. in total area, or a portion thereof. Survey grade stakes defining the three wetland lobes and straw waddle have been installed. The Easton Conservation Commission has issued decisions under the state and local wetland protection acts on October 21, 2020 (Order of Conditions DEP#152-1651 and Permit for Work E#1638). The project plans are entitled "Alternative Restoration Areas 3-8-21" (2 Sheets). More information is available on the Existing conditions survey plan, signed and stamped with Wetland Restoration & Flood Storage Plan prepared by Environmental Consulting & Restoration LLC (ECR). The restoration plans labeled as "ECR-Proposed Restoration Flood Storage Plan 9-14-20", permits, and project narrative can be downloaded electroncially. The approximately 9.7 acre work area is located on town-owned conservation land known as Sam Wright Farm within the Canoe River Area of Critical Environmental Concern. The purpose of this project is to restore flood plain and wetland areas abutting the perennial Mulberry Brook and associated bordering vegetated wetlands to the west and south of the project site, and a small stream to the east. Through an earlier project component, abandoned concrete structures have been removed. Deliverables - Work closely with Town of Easton representative and Wetland Scientist from ECR to excavate fill within the staked areas down to about elevation 85' (average 2' depth). Material should be properly disposed in authorized site(s). The Town seeks a qualified company with good track record in time management, sediment control and direct experience working in and near sensitive wetland resource areas in the Town of Easton or equivalent suburban communities in Eastern Mass. Lowest bid from a qualified professional that submits a proposal meeting all criteria identified will be selected. Successful candidate will provide proof of appropriate OSHA Training, and adequate insurance (motor vehicle identifying the Town of Easton as additional insured, worker's compensation, and professional liability of $1 million per claim and $3 million aggregate). According to MGL c. 30B s. 5 a payment bond of 50% is required if contract exceeds $25,000.00. As a municipal project, prevailing wages are required.
