Renovation of a fire / police facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
PREQUALIFIED firms only. Construction services to replace the complete building Fire Alarm System. Intent to install new first and then decommissioning old once the new is verified and commission. Scope does not include sprinkler piping but does include fire alarm/sprinkler interfaces (such as flow switches and tampers). The scope of this project includes replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new fully addressable 2 stage system, including adding new fire zones, monitoring and bypasses for Pre-Action System Shutdowns. Additionally, the project will include fire stopping, patching and painting wall/floor penetrations, replacing ceiling tiles that were damaged, or where devices were removed/relocated. Other responsibilities include but not limited to scheduling fire alarm system shutdowns with the key stakeholders if required. Also providing fire watches to provide continued fire monitoring and alerting of building occupants during times when portions of the existing fire alarm system is taken offline.
